Private Sale vs Professional
In Belgium, the law is strict: to sell to a private individual, you must pass the "used car" technical inspection and provide a Car-Pass.
However, there are exceptions:
- Sale to a professional (dealer): This is the simplest solution. The professional buys the vehicle "as is" and takes care of the repairs and inspection themselves.
- Sale for export: If the vehicle leaves the country, the rules differ.
