Is the valuation really free?
Yes. The valuation, the visit and the collection are all free. You are committed to nothing until you accept our offer.
Do I need a roadworthiness test before selling?
No. The requirement to present a test less than two months old applies to sales between private individuals. It does not apply when you sell to a trade buyer.
Do I need a Car-Pass?
Not for a sale to a trade buyer. The Car-Pass costs 11.10 EUR including VAT, is valid for two months, and stays mandatory only between private individuals.
Do you buy a broken down or damaged car?
Yes. We tow the vehicle at no cost to you, even if it no longer starts and even if it failed its roadworthiness test.
When do I get paid?
At collection, as we load the car. The amount was agreed before we came and does not change on the day.
Who cancels the number plate?
We do. Since 1 August 2025 only the DIV can cancel a plate and road tax runs until it arrives, so we start the process at collection.
Which documents should I have ready?
The registration certificate, the certificate of conformity and your ID card. Nothing else is needed for a sale to a trade buyer.
